bluerosekatieHello Trick or Treat author!! Hopefully this will provide some solid jumping-off points and an easier way to read my DNWs and Likes!
DNWs:
- Incest, including adopted and step-relations
- Underage (under 18) sex - depiction or discussion
- Rape - depiction or discussion
- Explicit sex or references to off-screen sex (primarily as innuendoes -- pregnant female characters aren't a problem)
- Unrequested changes to a canon character's sexuality/gender/race/etc.
- Graphic depictions of violence. Canon-typical violence is an exception, but dismemberment squicks me.
- Harming children 12 and under severely or permanently. Being scared, upset, or temporarily injured (scrapes, bruises) are fine.
- Harm to pet animals, unless the animal is rescued and safe by the end of the story.
- Cruelty to animals, clean deaths are OK but not generally wanted either.
- Crossovers w/ RPF or unrequested fandoms
- Unrequested romantic ships. If I say a ship in a different part of my request, it's not unrequested. Background OC ships are generally OK.
- Sinking requested ships if you choose to write them platonic. (Don't have them say "I could only see you as a friend", etc.)
- Character death for requested characters. I may be okay with canon character deaths but if there are specific characters pointed out in my requests, I'd rather not read about them dying unless noted otherwise.
- Unrequested setting change AUs (e.g. human, no powers, fusions, etc.)
- AI-generated works.
Likes!!:
- Fluff/slice of life, especially for characters who don't get a lot of that in canon.
- Focus on canon friendships
- Missing scenes/little added details that weren't in canon
- Happy endings
- Hurt/Comfort, especially between friends and ships
- Physical affection (between friends and between romantic ships)
- Food-centric worldbuilding. Make me hungry for foods that don't exist (or that do!)
- Requested ships being awesome in battle together (or alternatively, how they stick up for each other in everyday situations)
- Shenanigans (prank wars, random in-character goofy situations, friendly banter, if superpowers are involved, messing around with superpowers)
- Cats. If you can include a cat and want to include a cat, please include a cat!
- Transformations and/or showing off abilities, for canons involving superhuman abilities. Mild body horror/focus on the transformation aspect is OK here but see previous DNWs about violence.
- Soap or bubblegum bubbles, especially gigantic ones. Works well when combined with shenanigans. This doesn't have to be realistic either.
- Crossovers between requested fandoms.
- Canon Divergence AUs (e.g. what-ifs)
- Treats! I am okay with treats of any kind, so long as it's not something going against my DNWs!|

Tron (Movies)
Tron/Yori Treat prompts: Pre-Tron 1982 fluff, first meeting, entering the User world together for the first time, Uprising-era scene where Yori meets parts of the Uprising and helps them, post-Legacy fluff with Yori and Tron-as-Rinzler reuniting, physical affection, domestic or slice-of-life fluff between 82 and Legacy, etc.
Tron Uprising (TV)
Beck/Paige Treat prompts: Paige discovering Beck is the Renegade/her final defection from the occupation, Beck rescuing Paige, Paige helping Beck stay out of the Occupation's radar/serving as a double agent for the Uprising, post-Legacy/post-apocalyptic slice of life, etc.
Beck/Paige Trick prompts: Enemies-to-lovers midpoint angst, impossible choices, one survives and mourns the other, roleswap (Paige becomes the Renegade, Beck joins the occupation -- could be done in a canon continuation or a Rinzler!Beck AU), etc.
Beck & Tron Treat prompts: Beck rescuing Tron post-Legacy, moments where the two of them are more alike than they'd admit, action-adventure or thriller team-ups, fix-it AU where Legacy doesn't happen the same way because Beck keeps Tron from becoming Rinzler, slice-of-life, etc.
Beck & Tron Trick prompts: Angst when Tron finally becomes Rinzler, mentor-mentee angst when Tron leaves Beck alone for too long, tension when Tron doesn't agree with Beck's strategies, Rinzler as a threatening/intimidating figure, etc.
Bionicle - All Media Types
If you'd like to write something set in the Bionicle Mecha AU I wrote, go ahead! My favorite ship at the moment (or, really, always) is Takanuva/Gali, but I do love the others as well!
Krahka/Onewa Treat prompts: training-turned-tension, battle couple vibes, post-canon reuniting or reuniting early in AU where Krahka comes to Mata Nui with the Toa Metru, fluff while Onewa's a Toa Hordika, teasing each other about the changes they've gone through, etc.
Krahka/Onewa Trick prompts: Krahka using her shapeshifting to cause problems that Onewa has to solve, Krahka facing a feral Onewa Hordika, Makuta controlling Krahka to make her fight Onewa, worried/tense situations during the Ignition arc, Krahka dealing with issues after her time in the shadow dimension, etc.
Takanuva/Gali Treat prompts: play-fighting or training for battle together, little early attempts at flirting either in Karda Nui or on Mata Nui, AU where Takua has phantom memories of Gali while on Metru Nui, glimpsing what they might be like in the Kingdom AU (one of the canon AUs of the multiverse), post-canon exploration of Spherus Magna's seas, roleswap AU, escaping to a shared mindscape to distract from work, confessions/first kiss/etc.
Takanuva/Gali Trick prompts: AU where Takanuva goes more feral in Karda Nui and Gali has to stop him (permanently or not), similarly, Gali's darker side showing (or her being taken over by Shadow Gali) and how Takanuva reacts to it, interactions set in the Toa Empire AU (whether using canon Takanuva during his time there, or both characters from that universe), etc.
Matau/Nokama Treat prompts: Hordika arc fluff, role reversal where Nokama makes advances first, silly flirting methods, quiet moments on the island while they're Turaga, team-ups, times when they did succeed in communicating well, gift-giving vs. acts of service, flying together, etc.
Matau/Nokama Trick prompts: moments of Matau getting jealous (played for humor with the other Toa Metru, or more seriously), conflict during darker moments of the Metru saga or Ignition, dealing with issues on Mata Nui (whether spooky with Makuta or more lighthearted), etc.
Rockman | Mega Man Classic
My absolute favorite character from this at the moment is Proto Man, so most of my ship prompts revolve around him! I'm especially intrigued by the ideas in The Protomen, but I love less dark stories overall.
Dr. Light & Proto Man Treat prompts: Moments when Proto Man protects his dad, despite everything, looking at how Dr. Light built Proto (I love technobabble), Dr. Light acting fatherly whether Proto Man is on his side or not, etc.
Dr. Light & Proto Man Trick prompts: Dr. Light's thought process when Proto Man ran off, ways he planned to help fix him (and whether any of it actually would risk harming his independence), miscommunications (funny or otherwise), Proto Man's loyalties being torn between Wily and his father, etc.
Proto Man & Mega Man Treat prompts: Unlikely team-up moments, Proto Man heckling Mega Man without really hurting him or finding ways to train him even on opposing sides, play-fighting, hurt/comfort situations with Proto Man's energy core disability, etc.
Proto Man & Mega Man Trick prompts: Proto Man's loyalties being torn between Wily and his brother, Sons of Fate-esque confrontations even if there isn't a solid resolution, Mega Man finding out about his brother for the first time, loneliness-type angst, AU where Mega Man joins Wily because of Proto Man, etc.
Proto Man & Mega Man & Roll Treat prompts: domestic fluff type slice-of-life, Halloween shenanigans to match the event theme, times when each sibling protects the others, silly sibling interactions, unwilling team-ups in interesting situations, etc.
Proto Man & Mega Man & Roll Trick prompts: Roll & Mega Man teaming up against Proto Man, more aggressive/intense arguments, hostage situations (who would Wily decide to capture, and would it throw a wrench in his plans if Proto Man disagreed?), Roll being more against Proto and Mega Man being more conflicted, or vice versa, sibling rivalries or roleswaps with a different sibling as the estranged one, etc.
Proto Man/Kalinka Cossack Treat prompts: Kalinka using her knowledge of bots from her "brothers" to flirt with or help repair Proto, Proto being protective of Kalinka, AUs where the two of them met earlier on, enemies-to-friends-to-lovers scenes, etc.
Proto Man/Kalinka Cossack Trick prompts: Conflict over the time Proto Man kidnapped her for Wily, how he felt about doing it then vs. now, regrets or disagreements over past mistakes, Proto Man convincing Kalinka to work with Wily instead of him defecting to help her, etc.
Marvel Cinematic Universe
As you may be able to tell, I'm obsessed with Robbie Reyes from this universe (and his comics iteration) -- feel free to include elements from comic backstories if you're familiar with them!
Quakerider (Robbie Reyes/Daisy Johnson) Treat prompts: battle couples, training/practice with Robbie as a shield agent, post S4 AU where Robbie joins the team and becomes more involved with Daisy, weird-but-romantic moments, physical affection (non-sexual), team ups, etc.
Quakerider (Robbie Reyes/Daisy Johnson) Trick prompts: Ghost Rider/the Spirit of Vengeance providing snarky commentary on their relationship, expansion on the enemies to lovers bits we got, rescue scenes (with either one as the rescuee), battles against other supernatural forces, etc.
Gabe Reyes & Robbie Reyes Treat prompts: Robbie being a protective big brother, Gabe getting more involved with the super-heroing side of things (on purpose or not), AU where Gabe finds out about Ghost Rider earlier than in canon, etc.
Gabe Reyes & Robbie Reyes Trick prompts: How being raised by Eli affected them both, Ghost Rider's opinion of Gabe as opposed to Robbie's, hurt/comfort with Gabe (but please no magical healing of Gabe's canonical disabilities), angst with Robbie going "missing" at the end of S4, etc.
Robbie Reyes & Marc Spector & Steven Grant Treat prompts: casual meetings and recognizing each other as fellow superheroes, some sort of comedy involving their respective patrons' reactions to each other (I'm sure Khonshu and the Spirit of Vengeance don't quite see eye to eye), action-adventure team-ups, etc.
Robbie Reyes & Marc Spector & Steven Grant Trick prompts: team-ups with a more thriller/spooky vibe to them, enemies-to-friends situation, the Spirit of Vengeance judging Marc (how it goes is up to you), etc.
Tetsuwan Atom | Astro Boy
DNW: American dub names (Dr. Boynton, Toby instead of Tobio, Astro, Zoran/Zuran/Astro Girl)
As you can maybe guess, I just love complicated family relationships with my robots...
Atom | Astro Boy & Uran Treat prompts: Halloween costumes/trick-or-treating type of celebrations, rescue scenes (with either one as the rescuee), sibling friendship moments, Atom being protective of Uran (and Uran being protective of Atom), Uran's empathy coming in clutch to help Atom with his issues, Uran helping Atom loosen up and have fun, etc.
Atom | Astro Boy & Uran Trick prompts: Spooky/mystery concepts (do either of them have irrational fears? Silly things that scare them?), emotional hurt/comfort, sibling Enemy moments, their differences in how much they mask being robots (or not), etc.
Atom | Astro Boy & Dr. Tenma | Dr. Boynton Treat prompts: Atom forgiving/reconciling with Dr. Tenma, Atom protecting Dr. Tenma even if they aren't on the same side, Dr. Tenma as an overdramatic villain, moments where Dr. Tenma shows he respects/cares for his son, etc.
Atom | Astro Boy & Dr. Tenma | Dr. Boynton Trick prompts: Dr. Tenma taking advantage of knowing exactly(tm) how Atom works and hurting him with it, low-gore whump stuff with Atom as whumpee, Dr. Tenma as a messed up gray morality father, neurodivergent Atom parallels, etc.
Minecraft: Story Mode
Romeo the Admin/Xara Treat prompts: post-canon interactions (fluff or angst), canon divergence AUs (how would they have gotten along if Romeo didn't kill Fred?), their responsibilities as Admins, origin story of how the Admins got their powers, their first meetings, etc.
Romeo the Admin/Xara Trick prompts: interactions while Xara was Prisoner X, Xara giving Romeo a taste of his own medicine, roleswap AUs, the confrontation between the Admins or foreshadowing leading up to it, etc.
M!Jesse/Petra Treat prompts: meet-cute, meet-messy, Petra teaching Jesse how to fight, how they'd react to things in newer Minecraft updates (the Warden? Pillagers? Drowned? Up to you!), canon divergence AUs (feel free to check out ones I've written for inspiration!), post-canon fluff, life as traders/mercenaries on the road, Petra's work connections, etc.
M!Jesse/Petra Trick prompts: canon divergence AUs, especially ones focused on Champion!Petra or even Champion!Jesse, moments where the two of them don't get along well (an enemies to lovers variation?), stuff focused on the issues with friendship, pining, etc.
Metroid Series
Samus Aran & Ian Malkovich & Anthony Higgs Treat prompts: I feel like these three would just be such a chaos trio. Shenanigans the whole way, but also good cameraderie and team-up skills on the field, alongside Samus learning more about the wider galaxy's culture from the other two.
Samus Aran & Adam Malkovich Treat prompts: ways Samus earned Adam's respect and vice versa, moments of tension/rebellion and how they worked through conflicts like that, team-up moments, etc.
Samus Aran & Gray Voice & Old Bird Treat prompts: Samus training alongside her Chozo family, moments of learning the culture as well as battle, cute domestic fluff, moments of Samus getting to be a kid with them even after everything she went through early on, etc.
Crossover Ships
DNW: Death Battle type scenarios where there's only one side surviving, characters only see each other as enemies
I'm fine with having a more fusion-type setting with elements from both canons or its own separate setting, just please do not de-power the characters or remove major iconic elements (e.g. Samus and Jango's armor, Atom & Mega & Uran & Roll being robots, etc.) from their interactions!
Samus Aran/Jango Fett prompts: Enemies-to-lovers, maybe one got a bounty on the other, rivalry elements, little moments of recognizing and respecting each other's talents, etc.
Atom & Uran & Mega Man & Roll prompts: Swapping stories about their adventures or gossip on their siblings, Uran and Roll having a Girls' Night type event and dragging their brothers into the fun, action-adventure team-up, domestic fluff type slice-of-life (do robots have to clean out their own fan systems when stuff gets clogged?), etc.

Atom | Astro Boy & Dr. Tenma | Dr. Boynton Treat prompts: Atom forgiving/reconciling with Dr. Tenma, Atom protecting Dr. Tenma even if they aren't on the same side, Dr. Tenma as an overdramatic villain, moments where Dr. Tenma shows he respects/cares for his son, etc.
Atom | Astro Boy & Dr. Tenma | Dr. Boynton Trick prompts: Dr. Tenma taking advantage of knowing exactly(tm) how Atom works and hurting him with it, low-gore whump stuff with Atom as whumpee, Dr. Tenma as a messed up gray morality father, neurodivergent Atom parallels, etc.
Minecraft: Story Mode
Romeo the Admin/Xara Treat prompts: post-canon interactions (fluff or angst), canon divergence AUs (how would they have gotten along if Romeo didn't kill Fred?), their responsibilities as Admins, origin story of how the Admins got their powers, their first meetings, etc.
Romeo the Admin/Xara Trick prompts: interactions while Xara was Prisoner X, Xara giving Romeo a taste of his own medicine, roleswap AUs, the confrontation between the Admins or foreshadowing leading up to it, etc.
M!Jesse/Petra Treat prompts: meet-cute, meet-messy, Petra teaching Jesse how to fight, how they'd react to things in newer Minecraft updates (the Warden? Pillagers? Drowned? Up to you!), canon divergence AUs (feel free to check out ones I've written for inspiration!), post-canon fluff, life as traders/mercenaries on the road, Petra's work connections, etc.
M!Jesse/Petra Trick prompts: canon divergence AUs, especially ones focused on Champion!Petra or even Champion!Jesse, moments where the two of them don't get along well (an enemies to lovers variation?), stuff focused on the issues with friendship, pining, etc.
Metroid Series
Samus Aran & Ian Malkovich & Anthony Higgs Treat prompts: I feel like these three would just be such a chaos trio. Shenanigans the whole way, but also good cameraderie and team-up skills on the field, alongside Samus learning more about the wider galaxy's culture from the other two.
Samus Aran & Adam Malkovich Treat prompts: ways Samus earned Adam's respect and vice versa, moments of tension/rebellion and how they worked through conflicts like that, team-up moments, etc.
Samus Aran & Gray Voice & Old Bird Treat prompts: Samus training alongside her Chozo family, moments of learning the culture as well as battle, cute domestic fluff, moments of Samus getting to be a kid with them even after everything she went through early on, etc.
Crossover Ships
DNW: Death Battle type scenarios where there's only one side surviving, characters only see each other as enemies
I'm fine with having a more fusion-type setting with elements from both canons or its own separate setting, just please do not de-power the characters or remove major iconic elements (e.g. Samus and Jango's armor, Atom & Mega & Uran & Roll being robots, etc.) from their interactions!
Samus Aran/Jango Fett prompts: Enemies-to-lovers, maybe one got a bounty on the other, rivalry elements, little moments of recognizing and respecting each other's talents, etc.
Atom & Uran & Mega Man & Roll prompts: Swapping stories about their adventures or gossip on their siblings, Uran and Roll having a Girls' Night type event and dragging their brothers into the fun, action-adventure team-up, domestic fluff type slice-of-life (do robots have to clean out their own fan systems when stuff gets clogged?), etc.
